Failed to publish a post, perhaps the account from which the publication is performed does not have administrator rights, or the group wall is closed for publications.

To successfully publish posts to groups via Postmypost, it is important to make sure that your account and group settings meet a number of conditions. Below is an instruction that will help you avoid errors and set everything up correctly.

Possible reasons

  • You are not a group administrator Only an administrator can publish posts on behalf of the community or connect third-party services for auto-posting.
  • The wall (group feed) is closed for publications If the group settings don't allow publications or the wall is completely closed, auto-posting will not be possible.

What to do?

  • Go to the community where you want to publish posts.
  • Go to ManageMembers and make sure you are listed as an administrator.
  • In SettingsSectionsWall, make sure that posts are allowed for your role (for example, "Only administrators can publish" or "Everyone can publish").
  • If you're not an administrator, contact the current administrators to get the necessary permissions.
