The bot used for posting must have administrator rights

This error message appears when you attempt to post content through a bot that does not have sufficient rights to perform this action. To successfully post, the bot must have administrator rights in the corresponding channel or group.

Possible reasons​

  • The bot was added to the channel/group without being granted administrator rights.
  • Administrator rights were revoked from the bot after it was connected.
  • The necessary permissions were not requested or granted when the bot was connected.

What to do?​

  • Check the bot's permissions in the channel/group settings and ensure it has administrator rights.
  • Grant the bot administrator rights in the channel/group settings if they are missing.
  • Reconnect the account to Postmypost, ensuring you grant all the necessary permissions.
