Social network does not accept geolocation, please specify another point

Possible reasons​

  • Invalid location — The geolocation coordinates or place name may be incorrect or not recognized by the social network.
  • Restricted location — Some locations may be restricted by the social network due to policy or legal reasons.
  • Temporary unavailability — The location service of the social network may be experiencing temporary issues.

What to do?​

  • Try a different location — Select another nearby location that might be more recognizable.
  • Disable geolocation — If you don't need geolocation for this particular post, you can disable it by clicking the gear icon when creating a post and checking "Disable automatic geolocation".
  • Verify social network settings — Make sure your account settings allow for geolocation tagging.
