Security
Postmypost is a secure service for creating, scheduling, and publishing content on social media. We adhere to modern data protection standards and use only official social media APIs. In this section, we will explain how we ensure security when handling your personal data and social media accounts.
Availability
Access to Postmypost is provided through the main domain postmypost.io. Using the service does not require a VPN, regardless of your location.
If you experience any access issues, try the alternative domain — postmypost.ru.
Content and data protection
We adhere to the highest data protection standards to ensure the security of our users' activities. Our policy is based on advanced technology and strict security measures.
- All user data is securely encrypted and transmitted via secure communication channels (HTTPS), eliminating the risk of unauthorized access.
- Our data storage infrastructure complies with Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data" — all information is stored on servers in the Russian Federation in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
- We regularly improve our security system, conduct data audits, and test the platform's resilience to potential threats.
- We use only official integration methods with social media, without requesting users' passwords within our service.
- Support staff do not have access to users' personal accounts and cannot perform unauthorized actions such as posting content or managing an account. Even at your request, staff members do not have the technical capability to perform such operations.
Ensuring the security of your accounts
When working with Postmypost, your social media accounts remain fully secure. Postmypost operates through official social media APIs, without bypassing technical restrictions or emulating user actions. From the perspective of the platforms themselves, content publishing through our service fully complies with their regulations.
-
Official integration methods
Postmypost connects to social media only through official APIs. We do not request passwords or require unnecessary permissions. During the connection process, you are always shown which accesses are being granted to the service, and you make the decision yourself. -
Full access control
You manage the integration and can disconnect Postmypost at any time. This can be done both in the service settings and directly in your social media account. -
Regular checks by social media platforms
Social platforms have strict requirements for services using their APIs. Some conduct mandatory checks: we create test accounts, record videos demonstrating the service's operation, and platform representatives study the process to confirm compliance with requirements. These checks are conducted annually and ensure that Postmypost meets all current standards.
Reliability and fault tolerance
Postmypost is built on modern cloud technologies that ensure high speed, security, and uninterrupted service operation.
-
99.9% stability level
All key systems — databases, information storage, request processing — operate in a cluster architecture with multiple copies simultaneously. If one server fails, the system automatically switches to a backup cluster node, ensuring uninterrupted service operation. -
Servers in Russia and Europe
The infrastructure of Postmypost is located in data centers in Russia and Europe. This ensures stable service operation and reliable post publishing. -
Transparency and prompt information
We maintain an open policy regarding service stability. In the event of widespread outages, we promptly notify users and publish current information about the platform's status on a dedicated page.
Your questions
Why doesn't Postmypost use emulators?
Emulators allow actions that social media platforms forbid via official APIs, such as mass messaging, automated subscriptions, or sticker posting. Their use violates platform rules and can lead to sanctions.
Main risks
- Account blocking — social media algorithms detect unnatural activity and can temporarily or permanently block an account.
- Feature limitation — reduced reach, ban on subscriptions, commenting, and other restrictions.
- Data policy violation — automation via emulators can lead to data breaches and confidentiality violations.
- Security risks — third-party tools increase the likelihood of account compromise.
We use only official APIs that allow automating publishing, analytics, and other processes within the permissions granted by social media platforms. This ensures user safety and compliance with platform rules.
Why can't you specify a proxy for a social media account in Postmypost?
Postmypost works through the official social media API, so using a proxy is not just unnecessary but can cause issues. The official API does not block requests based on geolocation, and changing the IP address gives no advantage.
Our servers, located in Europe, are known to social media and operate stably, without the risk of blocking. Therefore, Postmypost does not support proxies — they are only needed for services that attempt to bypass restrictions by unofficial means.
From which countries and servers are posts published and how does this affect an account?
Postmypost uses official APIs provided by the social networks themselves. This means content publishing through the service is done within the platform's rules, without bypassing restrictions or using unauthorized methods.
When working through the official API, publishing is done on behalf of Postmypost's official server application in the social network, not from a specific user's device. Social networks do not associate such requests with the account's geolocation because they come from the service rather than manual user actions.
Thus, using Postmypost does not change your social media geolocation. This is a key difference from emulation of user actions, where requests may be detected as suspicious activity.
Where are Postmypost servers located?
Our servers are located in Russia and Europe, but post publishing is done through European data centers as some social networks do not accept requests from servers in Russia.
Nonetheless, all information is processed in accordance with legislation, ensuring the security of user data.
