To use third-party MCP servers in ChatGPT, a Plus, Pro, or Enterprise subscription is required, along with Developer Mode enabled.

Step-by-Step Instructions​

  1. Open Settings in ChatGPT by clicking on your profile in the bottom left corner.
  2. Go to the Connected apps (or Apps & Connectors) section.
  3. Click on Advanced settings and toggle on Developer Mode. Confirm the action in the pop-up window.
  4. In the Connected apps section, click the Create (or Add custom connector) button.
  5. Fill in the connection details:
    • Name: Postmypost
    • URL: https://mcp.postmypost.io/mcp
    • Description: Tools for managing social media posts via Postmypost.
  6. Click Save or Create.
  7. Confirm that you trust the application if prompted.
  8. Now, in a new chat, you can call the Postmypost tools. Ensure the connector is active in the chat settings (via the "+" icon or tool selection).
