Below is a step-by-step guide on how to connect Postmypost MCP in the Perplexity app (available for macOS).

To use MCP in Perplexity, the Perplexity macOS app and an active Pro subscription are required.

Step-by-Step Instructions​

  1. Open the Perplexity app on your Mac.
  2. Go to Settings by clicking the gear icon or via the app menu.
  3. Find the MCP Servers section.
  4. Click the Add Server button.
  5. Fill in the connection details:
    • Name: Postmypost
    • Type: SSEC (or select HTTP/SSEC if available)
    • URL: https://mcp.postmypost.io/mcp
  6. Click Save.
  7. Once added, ensure the server appears in the list and has a "Connected" status.
  8. Now, when creating a new request, you can use Postmypost tools.
