Managing hashtags

In the "Hashtags" section of the project settings, you can add, edit, and delete groups of hashtags.

  • Adding: Click "Create", specify the group name, set substitution conditions, choose where to place the hashtags (in the post text or the first comment), add a list of hashtags, and save the changes.
  • Editing: Use the pencil icon next to the desired group, make changes, and save them.
  • Deleting: Click the trash can icon and confirm deletion.

Additional settings

In the "Hashtags" section, additional settings are available that allow you to set general rules for substituting hashtags when publishing. These settings help standardize the addition of hashtags and ensure uniformity across all posts.

Hashtags can be added to the publication text with a new line or without a line break, and in comments with an empty line before the hashtags. There is also an option for random order of adding tags.

If the project has several rules set for different conditions, the total number of hashtags added may be too large. To avoid this, you can set a limit on the total number of hashtags, which determines how many tags will be added to the post, regardless of the number of triggering rules.

How are automatic hashtag substitution rules applied?

All specified rules are applied simultaneously if their conditions match. This allows you to set multiple rules, each containing its own cloud of hashtags.

What happens if the post text already contains hashtags specified in the rules?

Duplication will not occur—the system automatically excludes the repeating tag to avoid redundancy.

Can the total number of hashtags in a post be limited?

Yes, you can set a limit on the total number of hashtags. This will prevent an excessive number of tags if several rules add hashtags simultaneously.

How is hashtag placement in a post configured?

You can choose how hashtags will be added: right after the text, with a new line, or with an empty line. If you manually added hashtags at the end of a post, the system will preserve this format during automatic substitution, even if another insertion method is specified in the settings.

How can automatic hashtags be disabled when creating a post?

When creating a publication, you can disable automatic hashtag substitution for a specific post. To do this, click on the gear icon in the post settings and select the option "Disable automatic hashtags."

How can automatic hashtags be seen?

When creating a post, you can preview the list of automatically added hashtags in advance.

Hashtags can be seen in the post editor or in the publication preview.

Click on the number of hashtags to see the full list of tags that will be added to the post.

In the publication preview, you can assess how the hashtags will look in the post text or the first comment and check their correct display before publishing.

If the options for random order of hashtags and range of number of tags (from and to) are enabled, the list of hashtags in the preview and in the actual publication may differ, as the order and number of tags are selected anew each time.
