Why is monitoring disabled after connecting an account?

When connecting a VKontakte community to Postmypost, you may encounter a situation where the system cannot configure Callback API monitoring. This occurs due to a limit on the number of Callback API servers in the VKontakte group settings.

Possible reasons

In VKontakte group settings, there is a limit on the number of Callback API servers—a maximum of 10 servers per group. When you try to connect Postmypost, the system attempts to add your server to this list. If you have already reached the 10 server limit, the connection cannot be established.

What to do?

  1. Check the current Callback API servers in your VKontakte group settings:
  • Go to Community Management
  • Select the "Advanced" section
  • Go to the "Working with API" subsection
  • Find the "Callback API" section
https://vk.com/
  1. Delete unused servers:
  • Review the list of existing servers
  • Determine which servers you no longer need (e.g., test or duplicate servers)
  • Delete unnecessary servers
  • It is recommended to delete "Server 1" first if it was created automatically and is not in use.
  1. Reconnect the community to Postmypost after freeing up space in the server list.

Important: Only delete servers you are sure you need.
