Here are simple rules for successful publishing on Threads.

Regular posts​

Text​

  • Maximum text length: 500 characters

Photos​

  • Formats: JPG, PNG
  • Recommended resolution: 1440 px
  • Square, vertical, and horizontal images are supported

Videos​

  • Formats: MP4, MOV
  • Vertical videos with an aspect ratio close to 9:16 are supported.
  • You can publish multiple photos and videos in a single post
  • Maximum number of carousel items: 20
  • You can combine photos and videos in a single carousel
