Connecting Bluesky

Connection steps​

  1. Obtain the app password in Bluesky — this is the official method for third-party applications to access your account in Bluesky. It is not related to your main account password.
  2. Connect Bluesky to Postmypost.

Obtaining an app password in Bluesky​

An app password is a separate password you can use to control access to your account without sharing your main password.

  1. To create an app password, go to the Bluesky social network, then to the settings. Next, open the "Privacy and Security" section.

  2. Click "Add app password."

    Specify the name, for example, Postmypost.

    Click "Next," after which you will see the created password. Copy it and return to the Postmypost page.

Connecting Bluesky to Postmypost​

  1. In Postmypost, go to the "Accounts" section and click "Connect."
  2. In the window with the list of social networks that opens, click "Connect" next to Bluesky.

  3. Enter the identifier (the username can be found in the social network settings after the @ sign) and enter the obtained app password. Click "Connect."

  4. Check the box next to the account and click "Connect."

  5. Congratulations, Bluesky is connected!
