Requirements and limitations

Here are simple rules for successful X publications.

Regular posts​

Important: You can post up to up to 4 photos or 1 video in a single post, but not both types of media files at the same time.

Text​

  • For regular accounts, the maximum text length is 280 characters.
  • For premium accounts, the maximum text length is 10,000 characters.
  • Emoji and line breaks are supported.

Photos​

  • Maximum number per post: 4 photos.
  • Maximum size: 15 MB.
  • Recommended resolution: 1200×1200 px.
  • Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF.

Videos​

  • Maximum number per post: 1 video.
  • Maximum size: 15 MB.
  • Maximum video length: 140 seconds.
  • Recommended resolution: 1200×1200 px.
