Requirements and limitations

Here are the basic rules for successfully transferring content from Telegram to Zen.

Content Length​

  • Short posts (up to 3000 characters) are transferred as posts
  • Long posts are transferred as articles
  • If a post with media is very long, it may not transfer

Media​

  • Images are transferred (up to 20 MB)
  • Videos are transferred (up to 20 MB)
  • Round videos from Telegram are not supported

Title and Cover​

  • The title is taken from the first sentence of the post (up to 140 characters)
  • The cover is the first image in the post

Formatting​

  • Highlighting and formatting of text from Telegram is not preserved
  • Links are transferred
  • Emoji are transferred

Transfer Features​

  • One-way transfer: changes in Telegram do not affect the post in Zen
  • Published content must be edited manually
  • Linking: one Zen channel = one Telegram channel
